The food trucks roll into port for Street Food III
Easter's nearly here and if the prospect of chocolate covered cheeks from too many Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies is unappealing then I've got news of a gastronomic alternative for the over 10's!
The coolest food festival in all Mallorca returns to the coolest port for a three day spell of culinary delights for all as Street Food III takes residence in Port Adriano in the holiday period. You'll probably be familiar with the concept by now (if not, read our last article on the truckers) as a whole bunch of vintage trucks and caravans all kitted out with kitchens paraphernalia roll into town serving up some imaginative cuisine from Mallorca and beyond.
Put all thoughts of slow boiled onions and flaccid Frankfurters out of your mind and think eco-food, vegetarian, creative food, Tex-Mex and delicious desserts. It's perfectly free to enter, you only pay for your very reasonable priced food and drink and you get to enjoy the fabulously fabulous venue of the central port area which was of course, designed by Philippe Stark!
Fancy it? Me too! Be there
Friday 25/3 17 to 24
Saturday 26/3 12 to 24
Sunday 27/3 12 to 24
The list of participating trucks hasn't been announced yet, but I really hope the big red London Gin and Tonic bus will be there again. Chin Chin!
