One of the events in the celebrations in Palma's San Sebastian Saint's day is a gourmet tapas evening taking place in the main Mercat de l’Olivar which deserves further explanation. It's been
organised by Mallorca's top chefs through their own organisation Chefsins, who we've met before in Mallorca Spotlight
Once again, they'll be providing their Peccata Minuta 'show' throughout the market, which will be closed for business from 20.00 until midnight on Friday 17th January. No less than 13 top chefs
will be cooking up a tiny storm in the market to provide an unforgettable feast for the senses – just take a look at this list of world class cooks

Beef cheek tagine with couscous and coriander yoghurt (Marc Fosh), spicy Thai soup with cuttlefish (Tomeu Martí), cod bomb with apple aioli (Joan Marc), cannelloni with denton (fish) Mallorcan
vegetables and pumpkin sauce (Marga Coll), magnum tangerine chicken (Andreu Genestra)...
And just to whet your appetite even more, mixologist Rafa Martin of Brass Club will be preparing cocktails and fine artisan beers from Beer Lovers will also be on sale!
Going along couldn't be simpler, when you arrive you buy food and drink vouchers which cost a mere €2.50 each, which is a snip when you consider the quality of the products available, and you're
given a plan of where all the chefs are in the market and the tapas they have prepared.
Remember, it only lasts four hours so get there with Britannic punctuality on the dot of eight!
