Here's a great chance to sample some really good beer to accompany a variety of first class tapas courtesy of top chef Marc Fosh. Much as I love beer, the greatest liquid known to
man, I do occasionally find the typical lager on sale in most Mallorcan bars a tad 'samey.' Maybe it's because I'm older and brought up on fine British bitter
and ales that I long for something other than the sharp , almost fizzy taste of Spanish lager.
Happily, next Friday 31st January, Misa Bar has a special evening showcasing 6 beers from across the sea from near and far together with 6 different tapas prepared to enhance the flavour of the
beer (or maybe it's the other way round?)
Costing a mere €22.50 plus IVA, the big pour off is at 20.00 – reservations on 971 595 301 – when the first 'course' of crunchy langostine with basil and romesco
sauce accompanies a bottle of Islena beer from nearby Ibiza, followed by;
Patatas Bravas and Shipyard Monkey Fist (USA)
Pizza Bomba and Saranac IPA (USA)
Misa Paella with Glutenberg APA (Canada)
Mini Hamburger (photo) with Red Brick Laughing Skull (USA)
Orange Creme Brulee with Abita Restoration (USA)
Doesn't that all sound delicious?
