World's Biggest Cruiser for Palma

Thanks to the elongation of the enormous jetty at Palma's cruise ship port, the world's biggest cruise liner

Thanks to the elongation of the enormous jetty at Palma's cruise ship port, the world's biggest cruise liner, the Oasis of the Seas will be paying a visit on
17th September next year, 2014.

The gigantic ship is 16 storeys high, weighs 225,282 tonnes and carries around 7,800 passengers and crew – it truly is like a small town coming to town!

It's the ship's first time in Europe as it has been cruising the Caribbean from Florida since it came into service in 2009, but sheduled 5 yearly maintenance in Rotterdam means a trip to the 'old
continent.'

The ship, belonging to "http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/oasis-pre-register/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=oasis%20of%20the%20seas&utm_campaign=Brand+%2F+Ship+Terms&gclid=CNfO1pforbYCFczHtAodmEMAKA"
target="_blank">Royal Caribbean International, will then cruise Spanish seas, calling in at Barcelona, Malaga and Vigo, as well as Palma, before returning to the States via Southampton.

There are no plans for the Oasis of the Seas to return in the near future, so if you're in Palma on that date, take a look at her in the port.
