An unusual Epicurean treat awaits intrepid explorers of Palma's narrow side streets in the Rambla area of Mallorca's capital city. Almost hidden from view, Lo DiVino is neither a wine shop, bodega,
bar, nor restaurant, but a fascinating mix of all their best features!
It's a homely, friendly little place, with racks and racks of some of Mallorca's, and Spain's best wines – over 300 of them – at really competitive prices. Now here's the good part; the price
displayed on the wine is the 'shop' price, but to drink it in the bar or with some food, just add €3 for corkage!
For example, a very gluggable Blanco Verdejo with flowery, spicy scent will set you back only €8.90 plus €3 per bottle and is great with Galician Octopus or Cod and Tomato. Can't manage a whole
bottle? Not to worry, wine is served by the glass - €2.50 from bottles under a tenner, and the price of the bottle divided by four if it's above €10!
The food in this traditionally furnished, old-fashioned (in the positive sense of the word) bar lends itself to a friendly relaxed style of eating whether clients are alone of in groups. Dishes of
cured ham, cheese, pork and sausages can be had in three sizes - plate, small plate and tapa – perfect for sharing, tasting and trying!
Seafood too, anchovies, boquerones, tuna and escalivada (like ratatouille) comes in small, medium and large so there really is something for everyone here. Cleverly named,

to 16.00 and 19.00 to 24.00.
