There's an unusual musical experience not to be missed tonight (15/3) just down the road from Palma in the Arenal/Can Pastilla area. In what must be one of the most spectacular spaces on the
island, the cavArt Club hosts Cosmic Sessions at 22.00, entry €10/12.
The setting is an old quarry where huge blocks of sandstone – like those used to build Palma Cathedral and Bellver Castle – were hewn out of the ground, and it's amongst these precipitous cliffs
that cavArt has made its home.
Described as a 'new multidisciplinary space where music fuses with visual and scenic arts,' it also does a mean gin and tonic! Tonight Hernán Livolsi brings his Cosmic Sessions combo which features
a mix of ancient musical instruments and electronic music to the club. Described as Electronic World Lounge, it's a mix of old and new which really works, as you can see and hear in the video.
CavArt is in Cami del Palmer, near Arenal.
