Carrefour Properties to open a 65,000 square metre mall in Coll d'en Robassa near to the airport.
Its construction and opening will create 5,000 jobs and generate investments of around €120 million! It will house higher end fashion retail outlets, entertainment and restaurants and forecasts say
it will attract around 12 million visits a year from the entire island population. And with 2600 parking spaces, shoppers won't be wasting valuable retail therapy whilst searching for somewhere to
The mall has been designed by the Broadway Malyan architects practice and only requires the green light from Palma council in granting a construction license for the project – a bit of a foregone
conclusion given the money and jobs it would create for the city.
