One of Palma's most famous live music venues is back in business
One of Palma's most famous live music venues is back in business. Bluesville, in the Lonja area, was forced to close its doors by the council after many complaints from neighbours about excessive
noise into the early hours of the morning.
Now, after several months, the venue will reopen thanks to piece of technical equipment – a noise limiter – which will keep the volume of the music below the 95 decibels permitted on "/music/jazz/clubs.htm">Bluesville's license.
This is great news for both Palma's musical community who organised protests last February against the closure, and the neighbours, who'll be able to sleep all night now.
The live action starts tonight 27th July with Tom Trovador and loads of special guests invited and is followed by
28th Wonderbrass
29th Big Yuyu
30th La Boulette or Apenzeller Blues Band
31st Hugo Socrates
